A Midsummer Nites's Dream indeed...

September 26, 2010
Today was a surreal & eye-opening day of Life's lessons. I went to be a part of a reading as Lysandar for A Midsummer Nite's Dream without any expectations on myself or pressure to be a "perfect actor".  I went in to just have fun with my fellow cast members during this reading & that's exactly what happened & I found it to be one of the most enjoyable times I've had as an actor. The audience loved our reading & I had people giving me feedback I wasn't expecting or waiting for.

It felt really ...

In with the New & Out with the Old...

September 23, 2010

These past couple of months have been crazy.  First off, I found myself going for Disney Resort Auditions for singers & character-look-a-likes & I learnt a lot from these auditions. There're always tons of people auditioning & they start forming a line to sign up on the audition list hours before the actual audition call-time.

I also learnt how to cut an audition song to 16 bars, along with the importance of having sheet music & dance attire for any possible choreographed routines during these...

Updates & "Key Changes" on My Latest Happenings...

July 31, 2010

It's been while since I've been here & that's because I've been so busy with work. I've just completed 2 projects back to back within the past month for 2 musical productions for the Ryan Repertory Theater. I worked as the lighting operator for Introducing Harry Warren - a fantastic production of the history & life of Harry Warren & the great songs he composed & wrote:

Screening of "Sacrifice" tonite at 7pm - NYU Cantor Film Center!!!

June 13, 2010

I'm so pumped up with adrenalin & excitement today because boy-oh-boy...do I have a BIG NITE tonite at the NYU Cantor Film Center!!!

It's the hottest ticket in town - the premiere screening of "Sacrifice" - a short film I acted in just last weekend for the 48 Hour Film Project, where I played a crazed husband on the brink of a meltdown that could send shockwaves & have huge repercussions on the lives of
7 other people around him.

I just ♥ it!!!

Talk About Things Looking Up This Week

June 12, 2010

It's been a week of R&R for me.  First of all, I just wanna say how relieved I am from the excruciating pain from the walnut-sized boil on my butt that's gone away - it was like having a walnut-sized cactus attached to my ass for a week!!! But now it's gone... *big sigh of relief*

I'm really excited about the screening of the short film I shot last weekend in which I played one of the leads.  "Sacrifice" will be premiered & screened on 13 June, Sunday @ 7pm at the NYU Cantor Film Center...

I ca...
